The Social Impact Days is a city forum that focus on the immense potential of cross-sector collaboration, challenging the “silo mentality” and offering a creative space for innovative solutions as well as new forms of organisation and interaction to tackle social issues.
It started in 2014 and was already held in 3 CIS Countries.
MitOst e.V., International Alumni Center, Social Innovation Support Center SOL’ and TEXTIL invite the 4th edition of Social Impact Days which will take place from 6 – 9 December 2018 in Yaroslavl & Moscow, Russia and will focus on the following topic: Unlocking Communities’ Potential for Collaborative Cities.
In this process, innovations and new forms of collaboration become crucial. They create conditions for different groups of stakeholders to think and act in the meaningful way, making cities the best places to live in.
Through a series of impulses, interactive workshops, pitches and study visits we will explore the roles of innovative initiatives and cross-sectoral collaborations in unlocking collective consciousness and commitment towards the city.
Forum Y2018 program is built around “TEXTIL” — a cultural pop-up space which serves as a meeting and melting point for local communities in Yaroslavl.
